Every Fourth of July weekend in Provo, Utah, they host a hot air balloon festival. It's a great opportunity to get up close to some giant pieces of fabric and get colorful pictures. This year, however, there was a giant, dark cloud looming over the field...
Er, maybe it was Darth Vader mask. A really, really big one.
That's right... the VADER BALLOON! And a bunch of the helpers were dressed up as characters from the movie. It made for quite the spectacle.
Don't ever think that a sci-fi minion can't be patriotic.
I think the kids were a little confused by the costumes.
All in all, a good morning. Sadly, due to weather the balloons didn't all get to launch that day. It would have been a sight to see Vader in the air!
LOVE your pictures Andrea! You have such great talent and skill as a photographer!! Nice work!!
