The first is a copycat ad, which nearly kicked my trash when I tried to mimic the lighting on the glasses in the background. It took FOUR lights on the background alone!

The next I just turned in today. The subject was technology, so I borrowed my roommate's Ipod and my friend's hands.

I love the first one, though I'm still trying to figure out how you set it up. Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt took me 8 hours in the studio to figure it out myself. In the end I had to give in and composite a little. The background has one large scrim on either side to make the bars of light on either side of the glasses, then one more on either side of the front to make the spectral highlights.
